THANKSGIVING MEAL MINISTRY
Thanksgiving Day Meal Ministry
November 24th
8:30AM Doors open for helpers to prepare food.
10:30AM Begin dishing up meals.
11:00AM Begin delivering meals.
12:30PM Serve helpers and those who eat at Eagle House.
Menu:
Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes,
gravy, sweet potatoes, dressing,
whole kernel corn, green beans,
cranberry sauce, rolls and desserts.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
1.) Accepting money donations to purchase the food items.
2.) We need people to make dressing and desserts ahead of time-we also need people to cook turkeys.
3.) We also need the names of individuals and families who could use the meals. Call 658-8116 or 658-2434 for meal orders to donate or deliver items.
HISTORY
Since 1997 we have served hundreds of meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day to area "shut-ins, elderly, low income families, and low income individuals" to show Christ's love and compassion on those very special days. This ministry has been a reminder to the volunteers and recipients of what being truly thankful is about. If you want to help out there are several avenues that you could take....
If you want:
1. Request dinners to be delivered.
2. To make reservations to eat with us at Eagle House.
3. To be picked up and brought to Eagle House to eat with us.
If you want:
1. To donate food items.

3. To serve meals.
4. To help deliver meals.
5. To help clean up afterwards.
