Below are a few of the projects that we have at this time. More projects are in the process of being posted. Look through the pictures and read the skills required to align the project(s) that best fits your Work Team. If you do not see something you think will fit your group go ahead and call us to let us know. We will be more than happy to accommodate projects to fit your group. To set up dates and projects call 618-658-0099. All the residents that are represented below have filled out an application and provided information proving that they are in need of assistance. A home inspection is done in each home to insure all applicants are homeowners and are truly in need. All applicants will be truly grateful for any and all help that you may provide. More projects will be listed as soon as details are worked out. If you want a different type of project that isn't listed call Katie for more information. We are finding it difficult to find the most needy people who own their own home. (**The prices may vary slightly due to the materials being priced earlier. The materials are usually purchased through Lowes in Paducah, KY. )
Project #1Short Bio of Homeowner:
The elderly couple living in this 100 year old home is active in their church and the gentleman of the home had a mini stroke a couple years ago. Their sons have done several repairs to the home, along side their father, they just need the extra help in repairing the kitchen and bathroom. They are a very lovable couple and you would enjoy their company. Town/ County: Outside of Marion, IL/ Williamson County Cost estimate-$1,700.00 Repairs Desired: Rip out old flooring and replace all new flooring in the kitchen. Replace existing cabinets, and repair hole in bathroom floor. Skills Required: Carpentry Skills to replace floors and cabinets in their kitchen. This project will require someone who can lead and have construction understanding and know how. |
