Kelly Todd

Kelly Todd was born and raised in Marion, IL. She currently resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Obbie and their 3 year old twins, Roman and Ruby. They moved from Louisiana to Georgia 2 years ago to continue a church plant. As a pastor's wife, she serves alongside of her husband in the ministry.
She has a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and after graduation worked briefly at a mental health facility. Upon welcoming Roman and Ruby into their family through adoption, Kelly joined the team at Christian Adoption Consultants. As an adoption consultant she helps guide families through the adoption process from beginning to end. She is so grateful and honored to be a part of something that she is so passionate about.
Although her heart is full, it hasn’t always been easy. The Lord has used the difficult times to give her a deeper understanding of His love, grace and purpose for her life. Through cancer, infertility and loss, God has been so very faithful to their family. She is passionate about sharing her testimony and encouraging others to fix their eyes on Christ and place their hope in the Lord-not their circumstances.
Overview of Talk:
The world has so many expectations and opinions of women. And many of them are in stark contrast to what God has to say about us in His Word. Women can feel pressure in today's society to "do it all," while appearing to have it all together. Why do we so often run to the world to find our worth when God is the One who uniquely designed us?
At the Footsteps conference we will be uncovering some of the lies we often believe from society. We'll look to the scriptures to see how God defines and envisions womanhood. I will be sharing the story of God's faithfulness in my life. We are going to explore what it means to live freely as women who have surrendered all to Jesus. In my life, it seems like I was constantly fighting: fighting to live, fighting for purpose, and fighting to be free in Christ. I've fallen many times. I continue to fall. But I'm sustained and upheld by God’s hand. By exposing the cultural falsehoods we believe and sharing my testimony of God's grace, it's my hope and prayer that many women would be reminded of God's beautiful plan for their life.
